How do I find the full-text of an article indexed in ERIC?

Answer

ERIC is not a full text database. It contains only abstracts and acts as an index (table of contents) to thousands of scholarly journals. To access the pdf of the articles you are interested in, do the following:

Clicking the  button allows you to see if the article you are looking for is available in another database as a PDF.

How does this work?

When you click the  button you will receive one of two messages:

Message One: The  indicates that the article you are looking for is available electronically. 

Step 3: Click the PDF symbol on the page

Message Two: 

This message indicates that the article is not available in through our library. Simply, click the  button to place an ILL.

Log in using your UNBC user name and password and submit the form, which has been automatically populated for you.
