What does it mean when it says a book is in storage?

Storage is in the basement of the library and does not have public access. It is where we keep the books that we don't have room for upstairs. To get a book from storage, click the request button, and we will retrieve it for you. It will be available within 24 hours for you to pick up from the reserves room.
