Use this function to request that a title be retrieved from the collection and placed on the hold shelf  or mailed to a regional campus.

When you are looking at the book's record in the catalogue, you will see a button that says "Request" on the right hand side of the screen. Click the "Request" button.

On the following page,  select to log in using your UNBC credentials.

Select where you would like to pick up the book.

  • If you are located in Prince George, select "UNBC Library - Prince George Campus - Requests Reserves Room"
  • If you are located at one of the regional campus, select which campus you would like the book mailed to (Fort St. John, Quesnel, or Terrace)

Sometimes a book only has one copy or volume available which means there will only be one option with a checkbox.

  • Check the box beside the book.
  • Add any additional information library staff may need in the notes column.
  • Click 'Submit.'
