When you are looking at the book's record in the catalogue, you will see a button that says "Request it" above the title of the book.
Sign in to your library account using your UNBC credentials.
Review the information on the page to ensure that it is accurate, then click submit.
By pressing submit the system will send an email to the person who currently has that book on loan asking them to please return it. The patron who currently has it checked out is allowed to keep it for their initial check out of 3 weeks. If they have already passed that 3 weeks, they are given 5 days to return it.
