In LibCal (the Library's room booking system), select your desired date, room, and time. Available time slots are displayed in green, while unavailable time slots are displayed in red.

First, pick a date. You can book a room up to 21 days in advance. To pick a date, either jump directly to a date with the calendar pop-up, switch the weekly view, or scroll through the week's days (Image 3).

Once you have selected a date, find an available room and time. For more information about a room, click the blue "Info" button to the left of the room name.

Please note: The Assistive Technology Study Room is open to all students, but please consider using another available study room if you or other group members will not be using assistive technology or do not have accessibility needs. 

Bookings default to 90 minutes, but can be booked in 30-minute increments up to 180 minutes. First select a start time by clicking on a green box. Then adjust the length of the booking by clicking the dropdown menu in the room details (Image 4).

After you have selected a date, room, and time, click the blue "Submit Times" button at the bottom of the page. In the resulting page, please review the booking details and the Library's study room terms and conditions of use. After you have reviewed the details, click the blue "Continue" button at the bottom of the page.

On the resulting page, fill out the form to complete the booking. This includes your name and UNBC email address. Study rooms may have additional fields to fill out, which may or may not be required, such as group size. 

Please note: This booking service is provided by Springshare, a third-party company, and information you enter when booking an appointment with a librarian is not directly controlled by UNBC. The Geoffrey R. Weller Library does not ask you to input any additional identifying personal information such as student number in order to book an appointment. Please enter enough information to allow a librarian to support you, but do not input any information that is proprietary or confidential into this booking service. By using this service you accept any risk to your privacy associated with disclosing your personal information to a third-party service. If you have questions or concern, please contact the University Librarian at or 250-960-6612.

Your last step is to confirm the booking! Simply click the blue "Submit my Booking" button at the bottom of the page.

The webpage will redirect to a confirmation message. You will also receive a confirmation email at your UNBC email address. This message contains the booking details and directions to the study room. There is also a cancelation link. If you no longer need your booking, simply click the link to cancel your booking (Image 5).
