When searching Google Scholar at home, you may notice that articles you could access for free on campus are now requiring a credit card payment. The best way to access Google Scholar is through the library homepage. Access Google Scholar through the library's database list. From the "Database" tab, select the letter "G".

Sign in using your UNBC credentials and password. This will sign you in through the university's proxy server, changing your IP address so that Google Scholar understands that you are a valid user of proprietary journals.

Anything that you cannot access through the library can be requested through ILL (Interlibrary Loans) http://libanswers.unbc.ca/faq/197746.
