We use the "status" field to let our patrons know the status of a book, whether it is available to borrow, out being read by another patron, or available for in library use only. Here is what you will see:

Checked out: This means that the book is being read by another patron and is due to be returned on the date listed.

Available: This means that the book is available for you to borrow.

Lib Use Only: This means that the item may only be used within the library. This status applies to items found in either Special Collections (Archives) or the Reference Collection.

  • These will still be listed as "Available" but under the location will state "Note: In Library Use Only"
