Statistics Canada has plenty of economic data, which can be found by searching their website. The table Gross domestic product, expenditure-based, provincial and territorial, annual (x 1,000,000) contains both Reald GDP and Consumption in a single table. The default view has many variables, but does not cover a wide range of dates.
Once you select Add/Remove data, you can search for Gross Domestic Product:
Once you've selected GDP and Consumption, you have a much more manageable table, as seen here:
Now you can select the Reference period tab to get the dates you need:
The table is now too wide to easily display on a screen, but that's okay! Click the "Download options" button, which appears just above your data table, and select the first option "CSV Dowload as Displayed". You now have an Excel file of just the variables you need!
