If you are trying to access an article and the publisher is requesting payment, DO NOT PAY! Seeing this message means that you have hit a paywall.
Your tuition pays for you to have access to the materials you need for your research, either through the library or through Interlibrary Loans (ILL). Before requesting the article through ILL enter the title of the article you are trying to access into the Library Search on the library homepage to confirm that the library does not have a subscription to that journal.
After entering the title of the article you will be brought to the results page. If the library has access to the article you are looking for it will be the first result listed. There will be a "View Full Text" link on the page.
Click the "View Full Text" link and log in using your UNBC Credentials.
If the article you are looking for does not appear in the results you can make a request via Interlibrary Loans by filling out the form. Once the request is placed, you should receive a pdf of the article within 24-36 hours via your UNBC email.
